"This was an adventure of a lifetime, a memory that both I and my little one will cherish. The destinations were amazing with unique views, ambiance and seclusion, truly the escape that we aspire to through these adventures. It was an incredibly family friendly event with a wide age range of kids making it all the more enjoyable for my little one. Additionally the hosts ensured there were a variety of activities for the kids to partake in at various points in the trip - water play, paddle boarding, dune sledding and more. Regardless, this is a real overland adventure and nature always gets her say. The weather made more than one destination less than desirable for an overnight stay so adjustments happened on the fly. Again I give the hosts due credit in their ability to alter the itinerary and minimize the impact of severe winds and other inclement weather. There was no fixed adherence to a plan that would have been miserable. Rather the WOR crew demonstrated significant knowledge of the geography and weather patterns to re-route the group to more enjoyable destinations. I consider myself moderately experienced in off-roading and vehicle based camping having tackled some of the more challenging trails in Moab, engaged in a few recovery situations and camp quite often. I learned an immense amount from the group experience. I have a new view on my rig, load-out and how to approach a multi-day group adventure. Whether you are experienced or novice a WOR event will hold value, especially if you are looking for a family oriented event!" - Richard L
